We provide high-quality Arctic day tours for guests from around the world. These Terms & Conditions explain what you can expect when booking with Legendary Adventure and what we expect from you. By booking a tour with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking & Payment

Payment Process:
All payments are securely processed via Stripe, a PCI-certified payment provider.

Day Tours:

• Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Multi-Day Tours:

• Deposit: 25% (non-refundable), due upon confirmation of booking.

• Final balance: Due no later than 45 days before departure.

• Late bookings (within 45 days of departure): Full payment is required at the time of booking.
   

What’s Included
Your booking confirmation will clearly state what is included. All prices include Norwegian VAT. Unless explicitly stated, prices do NOT include:

• Personal expenses (e.g., meals not listed, drinks, tips)

• Travel, health, or cancellation insurance

• Transport to/from meeting points if not specified

Changes:

• By You: Modifications (such as name changes) are handled on a case-by-case basis and may incur an administrative fee.

• By Us: We reserve the right to adjust itineraries due to weather, safety, or operational requirements, while maintaining the overall quality of the tour.

2. Cancellation Policy

Day Tours:

• More than 48 hours before the tour start: 100% refund.

• 48 hours or less before tour start or no-show: No refund.

Multi-Day Tours:

• More than 45 days before arrival: Refund minus 25% non-refundable deposit and any non-refundable partner items disclosed at booking.

• 45 days or less before arrival: Minimum charge of 25% deposit + 10% cancellation fee. Up to 100% non-refundable, depending on partner terms.

We always aim to refund any recoverable amounts from our partners.

3. Health, Fitness & Age Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring the tour matches your fitness level. By booking, you confirm that all participants meet the stated age and fitness requirements. Please inform us in advance of any relevant medical conditions or needs.

4. Sightings & Natural Phenomena

We cannot guarantee sightings of the Northern Lights, wildlife, or other natural phenomena, as these depend on weather and natural conditions.

5. Behaviour & Responsibilities

We reserve the right to refuse service or remove guests whose behaviour endangers safety, disrupts the tour, or violates local laws or customs. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

6. Our Partners & Third-Party Services

We work with trusted local partners (guides, transport providers). When using their services, you agree to their terms. We are not liable for their performance or events beyond our control.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

We collect necessary personal data (e.g., name, contact details, dietary needs) to deliver our services. Data is shared only with trusted partners, stored securely, and retained only as needed. By booking for others, you confirm you have their consent. Please see our Privacy Policy for complete details.
 

Imagery Consent:
We may use photos or videos from our tours for promotional purposes. We will request consent when required by law.

8. Extraordinary Events (Force Majeure)

In the event of natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, or other unforeseen events beyond our control, we reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the tour. We will offer alternatives or refunds where possible.

9. Liability Limitation

Our liability is limited to the price of your booked tour. We are not liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, or delays, except as required by Norwegian law.

10. Complaints & Disputes

If you are dissatisfied, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. Complaints must be submitted within 7 days of the issue. Disputes are governed by Norwegian law and are subject to Norwegian jurisdiction.
