Arctic ski & sail

Arctic ski & sail in Lyngen

Combine skiing with sailing for an extraordinary adventure. Live aboard a sailboat while you explore the Lyngen Alps, experiencing the thrill of skiing and the tranquility of sailing in one remarkable trip.

Rising straight from the Arctic Sea, the mountains of Lyngen present some of the most scenic ski touring opportunities in Norway. From steep couloirs to less challenging inclines, the varied terrain of Lyngen offers exciting potential for every ski touring enthusiast.

Its location at 70 degrees north exposes this Alpine peninsula to immaculate snow conditions and one of the longest ski seasons, helping to enhance Lyngen’s reputation as one of Norway’s best ski touring destinations. The full potential is realized in the spring, with longer days, more sunlight and stable conditions that give us a greater opportunity to achieve good skiing.
Lyngen attracts ski enthusiasts from all over the world and this place is truly one of the most impressive mountain ranges in Norway with more than sixty peaks over 1000 metres.

The perfect way to experience the Lyngen Alps!
